The sensational Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has turned out to be an asset for the team, ever since he made his debut in the year 2016. Pandya has set the stage on-fire on numerous occasions with his all-rounding performance on-field.
Lately, he has become the talk of the town after his heroics in the just-concluded limited-overs series against Australia. He justified his role as a specialist batsman in the white-ball series. He was seen in a sensational red-hot form as he gave back-to-back powerful performances. He has deservedly adjudged the Man of the Series in the T20I series against Australia, which team India won by 2-1 after losing the last and final contest to the hosts at the SCG by 12 runs.
Hardik led the team to the winning side by producing a scintillating match-winning knock of 42 off 22 runs during the second T20I.
Several current and former cricketers have come out, applauding the heroics of Hardik, The latest one to do so is the former spin wizard, Shane Warne, who seemed very impressed with the heroics of the Indian all-rounder.
In an exclusive interview with Sports Tak, Shane Warne expressed his adoration for Hardik and called him a “swagger”, “rockstar” and “Mr Cool“. Warne said that Hardik appears to be a West Indian coming straight out of an Antigua beach when he speaks. He said:
“I will have Hardik Pandya in the Test side. It’s a bit of a surprise. I love him. I have said weeks ago that he is one of my top three players on the planet. I love him. He is awesome, and he certainly did what he did in the T20Is and one-dayers. Now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and saying ‘how good is Hardik Pandya,”

He also backed him for number 6 or 7 and hoped that Hardik soon makes his way back to the longest format of the game. He said:
“You think he has just come off a beach in Antigua. He is cool. I want him to bat at 6 or at 7 after Rishabh Pant at 6. Hopefully he will be back in the Test squad when he is back bowling full time. India have got so much of depth that it’s going to be a good side,’
