Ahead of the upcoming Test series, Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja’s injury has become one of the most discussed topics in the cricket fraternity. However, the fans can now take a ‘sigh of relief’ as Jadeja revealed that his recovery is going well as he shared a training video.

Jadeja missed the second and third T20Is against Australia after he was hit on the head in the final over of the first T20I at Canberra.

During the game, Jadeja gave a blockbuster performance and took the Indian cricket team to victory. However, after he was hit on the head in the final over of the 1st T20I at Canberra, he didn’t come out to field in the second innings as BCCI medical team decided to assess the player before allowing him to get on with the proceedings.

Later on, Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out of the entire series and Shardul Thakur was named as his replacement. BCCI had even released a statement stating:

“Ravindra Jadeja sustained a concussion after being hit on the left side of his forehead in the final over of the first innings of the first T20I against Australia in Canberra on December 4, 2020,”

“The diagnosis was confirmed based on a clinical assessment in the dressing room during the innings break by the BCCI Medical Team. Jadeja remains under observation and will be taken for further scans if required based on the assessment on Saturday morning. He will not take any further part in the ongoing T20I series,”

Ravindra Jadeja is a part of the Indian squad that will be seen locking their horns against Australia in the upcoming four-match Test series. The first test of the series will kickstart at the Adelaide Oval from 17th December and it would be a day-night contest. Therefore, Jadeja’s fitness left everyone talking about it. But now Jadeja has himself given an update about his fitness now.

On Monday, Ravindra Jadeja took to his Twitter and shared a work-out video. Sharing the video, Jadeja wrote:

“Recovery going well #trainingmode.”
