From Sourav Ganguly To Harsha Bhogle, Cricketing Fraternity Wished Strength To Mohammrd Siraj

The Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Siraj lost his father Mohammed Ghouse on Friday. His father, who was 53 years old, lost the battle to a lung ailment. Mohammed Siraj is currently in Australia for the upcoming bilateral series and thus, wasn’t able to see his father for the one last time.

“My dad’s wish was always this – mera beta, desh ka Naam Roshan Karna (my son, you should make my country proud). And, I will do that for sure. It is shocking. I lost the biggest support of my life. It was his dream to see me play for the country and I am glad that way I could realise that and bring joy for him,” Siraj was quoted as saying to Sportstar.

In the meantime, social media was soon flooded with posts and tweets for the young cricketer. The cricketing fraternity has come out in support of Siraj and is praying for strength for Siraj. Cricketers can understand what Siraj must be going through after not being able to see his father for one last time.
