1. Virat Kohli asks Ravichandran Ashwin ‘who’s the boss’:

This happened during the RCB vs KXIP game in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League. During IPL 2019, R Ashwin came under the scanner of critics because of his Mankading controversy.

During this match, KXIP needed 27 runs from the final over, while chasing RCB’s mammoth total of 207. The first ball of Umesh Yadav was smashed for a six by Ashwin. On the next ball, he tried the same shot, however, the ball landed straight in the hands of Virat Kohli.

Following the catch, Virat Kohli mocked Ashwin for his infamous Mankad attempt and was gesturing as if to ask what happened now?

2. When Virat showed middle-finger to Aussie spectators:

The infamous ‘finger gate’ incident took place during team India’s forgettable tour of Australia in 2012. The Indian skipper had enough of the Aussie crowd, who kept booing team India as Michael Clarke smashed Indian bowlers to all the corners of the ground. Frustrated with the behavior Virat showed the Aussie crowd the middle finger. Later, he was fined 50% of his match fee.

3. Virat Kohli’s fight with Gautam Gambhir:

It is one of the most shocking incidents to have taken place on-field between India and Delhi teammates Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. The incident took place during the 2013’s edition of the IPL in a clash between RCB vs KKR.

It all started when the then KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir gave a send-off to Kohli after the latter’s dismissal. Virat didn’t like what Gambhir said and a heated argument started between the two. Both the cricketers were seen hurling expletives.

4. When Virat did the tongue-out celebration after dismissing Mushfiqur Rahim:

This incident took place during the Champions Trophy 2017 semi-final when Virat trolled Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim with a tongue-out celebration after taking his catch. The incident created a storm on social media.

 

5. When Virat Kohli did the dancing celebration:

This happened during the 1st ODI between India vs West Indies at Guwhati in 2013. Shemron Hetmyer was giving a hard time to the Indian bowlers and had already scored a century. However, during the 39th over, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Hetmyer for 106. Following this, Virat couldn’t contain his happiness and burst into some dancing moves, celebrating the wicket.
