Yuvraj Singh Is Going To Make A Comeback Very Soon

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is regarded as one of the devastating batsmen to have played for team India, left his fans heartbroken after he announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket. However, since now he has retired from the international and domestic circuit, he is now eligible to play in overseas T20 tournaments.

Well, for the unversed, BCCI doesn’t allow the active players to feature in overseas T20 tournaments. Yuvraj Singh even took part in the Global T20 Canada as well as in Abu Dhabi T10. Now as per the latest updates, Yuvraj Singh is interested in playing in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL).
BBL is yet to feature any Indian cricketer in the league as BCCI due to the BCCI not issuing a no-objection certificate for any other T20 league around the world. However, since Yuvraj Singh is now retired, he is aiming to become the first-ever Indian cricketer to play in BBL.
Yuvraj Singh Is Going To Make A Comeback Very Soon
Recently, Yuvraj Singh’s manager Jason Warne of W Sports & Media confirmed that Cricket Australia is interested in finding Yuvraj Singh a team in BBL. Jason said:
“We’re working with CA to try to find him a home,”
Yuvraj Singh’s keen interest in BBL has come out just after a few days since Shane Watson claimed that the league would benefit from the presence of Indian cricketers in it. He had said:
“There is a chance but no Indian players have been able to be released in the past to come and play at the [other] T20 tournaments so that’s a big hurdle,”
He added:
“It would be incredible for them to be able to play in these tournaments. That is the ideal situation. There are so many world-class T20 players in India that aren’t playing for India that could be potentially available to play in the Big Bash and other tournaments around the world. If that’s able to happen, that would make a massive difference.”
