Amidst the Coronavirus crisis, the whole world is currently under the lockdown and people are maintaining social distancing, in order to contain the spread of the dangerous Coronavirus pandemic. As far as India is concerned, the lockdown which was earlier imposed till April 14, has now been extended till May 3.
Meanwhile, sporting events and tournaments around the world have come to a standstill and cricketers and celebrities from all walks of life are making full use of the lockdown by taking to their social media and are indulging in interactive sessions with their fans. Several cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, Virat Kohli, Kevin Pietersen, Rashid Khan among many others, went live on social media and opened up about many things.
Recently, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammad Shami, India’s two biggest bowling sensations went live on Instagram, where their fans flooded them with interesting questions, ranging from their personal and professional lives.
During the live session, Mohammad Shami was asked to choose between skipper Virat Kohli and his limited-overs expert Rohit Sharma. To which Mohammad Shami said that he is close to Virat Kohli. Providing a reason for the same, Mohammad Shami said that he doesn’t interact with Rohit Sharma much. He said:
“I don’t interact much with Rohit on calls. Don’t know, but Rohit and I hardly even bond on jokes etc. Though we have debuted in Test together…With Virat, we both talk on all sorts of things (music taste or regarding any joke). We even interact quite often over the phone. Hence, I will go towards Virat in this case. It is not because he is the captain, but we bond in a much better way,”
Meanwhile, Mohammad Shami, who had impressed one and all with his heroics for his IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab, was supposed to join his teammates for the upcoming season of IPL, which has now been suspended because of the Coronavirus pandemic
