CPL 2020 Fantasy Cricket Tips: Match 16, Trinbago Knight Riders vs Guyana Amazon Warriors

TKR are undefeated in CPL 2020 so far and are just one victory away from the playoffs. Guyana Amazon Warriors, on the other hand, have their work cut out as they have lost more games than they have won at this stage.
With 2 wins out of the 5 games they have played, Guyana are currently seated at no. 4 in the points table, while TKR are right at the top with 4 wins out of 4.
Here are our fantasy cricket tips for Game 16 of CPL 2020 –

Pitch Report
The pitch at Queen’s Park Oval has been slower than usual. Traditionally, it’s the kind of surface where the par score batting first is considered to be somewhere around 160 and 170, but the scores much lower than that have been defended successfully in a few games that have been played here so far this season.
A slow surface might be on offer again tonight and both teams will require showing a bit of skill with the bat as well. Power hitting alone won’t help.
Predicted playing XI of both teams
Trinbago Knight Riders
Lendl Simmons, Colin Munro, Tim Seifert, Kieron Pollard (C), Darren Bravo, Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Fawad Ahmed, Jayden Seales, Ali Khan and Khary Pierre
Guyana Amazon Warriors
Brandon King, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Shimron Hetmyer, Ross Taylor, Nicholas Pooran, Sherfane Rutherford, Chris Green (C), Keemo Paul, Imran Tahir, Ashmead Nedd and Naveen-ul-Haq
Top Picks

Brandon King has got quite a few good deliveries upfront with the new ball this season which is one of the reasons why he has got out cheaply on quite a few occasions, but in one of the games where he survived the new ball, he showed he was actually in good rhythm. If he manages to get through the new ball tonight, he will definitely be one of the players to watch out for.
Darren Bravo has held TKR’s middle order together with his organized batting against spin bowling. He is also someone who has  got the big shots in his repertoire, but his biggest strength is the fact that he can manipulate the strike against the spinners. TKR has got a lot of power hitters anyway, so that’s not where they are lagging behind, but a sane head in the form of Bravo allows the other power-hitters to go for their shots from ball one.

Dwayne Bravo has been bowling at the crucial junctures of the games for TKR and he has bowled some really good spells. The all-rounder has, however, not got too many opportunities with the bat yet.  TKR might promote him up the order in this game, as they have almost qualified for the playoffs anyway.
Naveen ul Haq and Fawad Ahmed are the two bowlers who have really proved to be very tough to score against in the post power-play period. The variations that both of them have got really suit to the surfaces that have been on offer in this tournament.
Captaincy pick: Brandon King
Vice-captaincy pick: Colin Munro
Fantasy XI: Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Brandon King (C), Darren Bravo, Colin Munro (C), Keemo Paul, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Imran Tahir, Naveen ul Haq, Fawad Ahmed
