Those who missed Yuvraj Singh’s comeback hundred against England in the second ODI of the ongoing series between India and England, are going to regret it for a very long period of time. In fact, it was not just Yuvraj Singh’s innings. Former Indian captain MS Dhoni also scored a hundred and it was his first after stepping down from the job of captaincy.
Yuvraj and Dhoni got together when India were struggling at 25-3. But, both showed the value of experience and slammed hundreds to take India’s score to 381 in 50 overs. Yuvraj scored his highest individual score in ODIs and Dhoni smashed his 10th ODI hundred. The last time Dhoni and Yuvraj batted together and a formed a 50 plus partnership in ODIs was way back in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 final at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
