India vs England 2016: The first warm-up match will be MS Dhoni’s last match as India’s captain

MS Dhoni has stepped down as India’s limited-overs captain but the fans will get to see their ‘Captain Cool’ leading the side for the one last time in the first warm-up match against England.

MS Dhoni will lead the India ‘A’ team against England in a warm upmatch at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on January 10. Many fans are expected to be present in the stadium as it will definitely be an emotional moment for MS Dhoni who will walk onto the centre of the pitch for the toss as India’s captain for the one last time.

The CCI officials are making special arrangement for the game as they are expecting at leas5 15,000 people in the stadium.

“Till now we were preparing as just another warm-up match. But now, with the match being shown live and being labelled as Dhoni’s last tie as skipper, we are expecting at least 15 to 20,000 people to flock the stadium. We will have to request for additional police force to control the crowd. The atmosphere is going to be like an international match and we have to live up to our high standards,” a top CCI official told Hindustan Times on Saturday.
