Virat Kohli Celebrated Mumbai Indian’s Win: The five-time champions Mumbai Indians finished their disastrous journey in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League with a stunning win over the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians’ win has allowed the Royal Challengers Bangalore to advance to the playoffs for the third year in a row.

Well, for the unversed, the fate of Royal Challengers Bangalore was dependent on the result of Mumbai Indians and the Rohit Sharma-led side has kept RCB alive in the competition for the elusive title.

Meanwhile, after Mumbai Indians’ win, last night fans on social media went berserk and took to social media to express their excitement. Among many, former RCB captain and batting maestro Virat Kohli also took to his Twitter to express his excitement for qualifying for the IPL 2022 playoffs. Kohli took to his Twitter and wrote “Kolkata” with an emoji of an airplane.

It has to be noted that Royal Challengers Bangalore will now take on KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator clash on Wednesday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In his Tweet, Virat also agged RCB and MI with shake hand emoji. He wrote:

“✈ Kolkata @mipaltan 🤝 @RCBTweets”

In another Tweet, Virat shared a picture of himself with Glenn Maxwell and captain Faf du Plessis as all of them looked in a celebratory mood.

While Mumbai’s win has turned out to be a reason for celebration for RCB, on the other hand, the outcome of the game was a disappointing result for the Delhi Capitals as they have been knocked out of the IPL 2022 playoffs. Delhi Capitals will end their journey in IPL 2022 in the fifth position in the IPL 2022 points table, with 7 defeats and 7 wins.
