IPL 2022: Rashid Khan Gave An Epic Reaction After Liam Livingstone Smashed A 117 Metre Six

WOW! That was some mighty hitting and entertainment from Livingstone to cap off the fiery innings from Punjab. The star all-rounder from England, Liam Livingstone lit up the stadium with some fireworks from his bat to hand over a victory to Punjab Kings, defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by eight wickets on Tuesday at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium.

Liam Livingstone walked out to bat after Punjab lost their second wicket and he went berserk against the talented Gujarat bowlers. He played a blockbuster cameo of 30 runs off just 10 balls.

Livingstone smashed the sensational Mohammed Shami for three maximums and two fours, also hitting a gigantic six measurings 117 meters, which is the longest six in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League so far.

That 117 meters six made everyone’s jaw drop, including his captain and the bowler of the opposite team.

Well, the shot came in the 16th over bowled by Shami. The sensational batter cleared his front leg and swung his bat hard to hit the ball over the deep square leg. The ball traveled 117 meters and the reactions of every one were caught on the camera.

However, the reaction of Rashid Khan stole the show as it was just hilarious. Well, after the monstrous six, the play was stopped for a while as the ball fell on the third floor of the DY Patil Stadium and was lost. During this break, Gujarat’s Rashid Khan went to Livingstone and jokingly checked his bat.

Sharing the hilarious moment, Gujarat Titans came up with an epic caption that read: β€œRashid Bhai, spring maili?” 

Meanwhile, a fiery knock from Shikhar Dhawan (62 off 53) and a blockbuster cameo from Liam Livingstone (30 off 10) helped the side in registering their 5th win of the season.
