Former Treasurer of the BCCI, Anirudh Chaudhry posted a hilarious Tweet after Dinesh Karthik was dismissed last night during an IPL 2022 match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) wicketkeeper-batter — Dinesh Karthik has been in some tremendous form off-lately. He has been a major contributor to the team’s wins, playing the finisher’s role and winning games for his side.
Before heading into the clash against CSK last night, the 36-year-old had registered scores of 32*, 14*, 44*, and 7*. During the match last night, Dinesh Karthik played another fine knock as he smashed 34 runs off 14 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes, however, he couldn’t take his side home.
Meanwhile, after he was dismissed, Anirudh Chaudhry took to his official Twitter handle and shared a hilarious tweet about DK. In his Tweet, he mentioned how the husband of Dipika Palikal was not able to take his side home. He wrote:

For the unversed, Anirudh took a dig at all those media houses that recently referred to Dipika Pallikal as Dinesh Karthik’s wife in their headlines. Dipika, who is a champion in herself, recently made India proud as she won the mixed doubles and women’s doubles titles at World Doubles Championships in Glasgow. However, some media houses referred to the talented squash player as ‘Dinesh Karthik’s wife’ in their headlines.
Recently, even popular commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle also called the media house on Twitter for the same reason. He wrote:
“Hey @ZeeNews do you want to change your headline? It isn’t fair to @DipikaPallikal who is a champion in her own right. I hope you will.”
