On Saturday, during the match against Mumbai Indians, the whole batting and bowling units of Rajasthan Royals combined to give a tough time to the Rohit Sharma-led team. While Jos Buttler entertained everyone with his stunning knock as he blazed a century off 68 balls to lead his team to a 23-run win over the Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, Ravi Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal starred with the ball as they restricted MI to chase the target.
Rajasthan Royals’ star opener Jos Buttler became the first cricketer to score a century in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
Later, after the game, Buttler was involved in a hilarious banter with star bowler Yuzvendra Chahal, while speaking for the official IPL website.
The duo also talked about the running joke of Chahal’s desire of opening the batting alongside Buttler Yuzvendra Chahal threw a curveball at Buttler as he hilariously asked him if he feels confident while opening the batting knowing he is batting at No. 8 or 9. Buttler too responded in the same manner, saying:
“Absolutely! Ever since you turned up this year, you have been putting pressure on the opening spot. Have to take my time to score some runs to keep you on the outside.”
