Rajasthan Royals’ skipper Sanju Samson once again played an instrumental knock-in helping his team post a competitive total of 172 runs against Mumbai Indians in the ongoing match in Delhi. The 26-year-old skipper played a stunning knock of 42 off 27 balls, which was laced with 5 fours.

Apart from his stunning knock, Samson managed to leave everyone in splits after a hilarious incident took place while he was wicket-keeping during MI’s innings. Samson copped a blow on his crotch, however, he let out a smile and left everyone in splits.

The incident took place in the second over, which was delivered by Jaydev Unadkat, who bowled to Rohit Sharma. The ball went straight to Sanju Samson behind the stumps after getting beaten by Rohit. Samson failed to collect the ball cleanly and instead copped a blow on his crotch. Even though the ball had hit him hard and it felt like a nasty one, but Samson was not much bothered about the same.

The video of the same has gone viral on the internet and has been making rounds on social media. Here, watch the video:

Talking about the game, Sanju Samson formed a decent partnership of 49-ball 57 run stand with Shivam Dube. Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler gave a flying start to the game, stitching a 66-run partnership.

Later, riding on Quinton de Kock’s stunning knock of 70 runs and amazing cameos by Krunal Pandya, Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav, Mumbai Indians managed to defeat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets
