Yusuf Pathan took a brilliant one-handed catch at short third man to dismiss Virat Kohli in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday in Hyderabad.
It was a huge turning point in the game as Virat Kohli is the only in form batsman in the RCB line up in IPL 2018 and his wicket shifted the momentum of the match massively in the favour of Hyderabad.
It was a very difficult pitch to bat and Kohli’s presence in the middle would have made a huge difference in the end as he is one of the best chasers in all forms of cricket.
Virat mistimed a shot off Shakib Al Hasan and flew towards short third man where Yusuf Pathan, who is a very tall unit, stretched full length and pulled off a stunning one-handed catch. Yusuf has not been in the best of forms but he has been making useful contributions with the bat lower down the order.

But, he made a huge impact with his one-handed catch. Yusuf also won the award in the post match presentation for his catch and fans on social media were also in disbelief as Yusuf is not known for his fielding skills. Irfan Pathan, who is now a part of the commentary team of Star Sports,
posted a hilarious message on Twitter.
Yusuf and Irfan share a very good bond and they keep having funny conversations on social media. Irfan being the younger one keeps pulling Yusuf’s leg and it becomes a great reading for the fans. Here is what Irfan Pathan tweeted:

And Yusuf Pathan gave an equally hilarious reply.
Bachpan m itne aam tode hain humne sath m abtk adat nahi gayi.

Later, Yusuf Pathan’s SRH teammate and one of the most exciting young cricketers in the world, Rashid Khan, who is also a Pathan joined the conversation and made it absolutely ‘Pathantastic’
