Delhi Capitals Got Trolled Badly By Mumbai Indians Fans

Mumbai Indians have made it to the finals by brutally defeating Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in the just concluded Qualifier 1 in Dubai. It was a much-deserving win for the Rohit Sharma led squad as they dominated the game from the word ‘go’ and outperformed Delhi Capitals in all three departments of the game.

Riding on the 60-run partnership off just 23 balls between Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan, Mumbai Indians were able to post a total of 200/5 in 20 overs. 55 runs came off the last three overs and 75 in the last five, which led the team to get into an advantageous position.

Chasing a total of 200 runs, Delhi Capitals got off to the worst possible start as they lost their three star-players Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ajinkya Rahane with 0 runs in their account. Yes, you read that right.  All three departed for golden ducks without a score on the board.

Skipper Shreyas Iyer tried to play optimistic cricket and bring a much-needed momentum to the game but lost to Bumrah as the pressure of the required run-rate started piling up.

Rishabh Pant once again failed to live up to the expectations of the fans as he was dismissed after scoring 3 runs only.

Delhi was reeling at 41/5 in 8 overs. Axar Patel and Marcus Stoinis emerged out as the only warriors as they smashed as many as they could. However, they couldn’t take their team to the winning sides and lost Qualifier 1 to Mumbai Indians by 56 runs.

Meanwhile, social media was flooded with reactions from Twitterati on this. Twitterati are trolling Delhi Capitals left, right and center and are claiming that ‘Delhi Daredevils’ is back again.
