Jofra Archer Trolled Kings XI Punjab ‘Like A Boss’ On Twitter: The ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is going on in full swing and it is nothing less than an eye treat for the cricket fans. On Sunday, the Sharjah Cricket Stadium witnessed a thriller as it rained sixes and fours in the stadium after Rajasthan Royals (RR) gunned down 224 in 20 overs against Kings XI Punjab in Sharjah on Sunday.
Paceman of Rajasthan Royals, Jofra Archer’s role might have gone unnoticed because of an epic performance from his teammate Rahul Tewatia, who turned the tables for his team. Jofra walked out to bat when his team RR was at the point where the game could have drifted either way as they needed 21 off 11 deliveries.
However, Jofra Archer, who is known for his brilliance with the ball, proved that he can rule the cricket world with the bat as well. He held the innings for RR as he smashed two sixes and titled the scales in his team’s favor.
But his innings didn’t come easy to him. While the internet went crazy praising the performance of Jofra Archer after he played a powerful cameo, but things were different during the KXIP’s innings. Jofra was being badly criticized for his bowling after he was smashed by KXIP’s batsmen across all the corners of the ground. His bowling figures read: “4-0-46-0”.
Among many, KXIP via their official twitter account took a dig at Archer by sharing his old tweet, where he had mentioned about ‘unexpected gifts. Mentioning the bowling figures of Jofra, KXIP wrote:
“You don’t see something like this from someone like Jofra so often”
