Irfan Pathan Posted A Very Emotional Message For His Son: The much-awaited 13th edition of the Indian Premier League finally kickstarted from September 19th in the UAE with Chennai Super Kings defeating the defending champions Mumbai Indians by 5-wickets. The league was delayed because of the Coronavirus pandemic and after many delays, the league finally kick-off and is currently going on in full swing.
Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, cricketers and their franchises are following some strict protocols and are living in a bio-secure environment in the UAE. Not just the cricketers but a part of the Hindi commentary team of Star Sports is also currently in the bio-secure bubble in a seven-star Mumbai hotel.
As most of the cricketers and commentators are away from their families, they are only communicating with their loved ones via phone and video calls only.
On Sunday, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who is a part of the commentary panel of the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, took to his twitter and shared an adorable picture of a screengrab of his video call with his son Imran. In the picture, Imran can be seen sobbing after being away from his dad.
Sharing the picture, Irfan Pathan highlighted the disadvantages of living away from family, with his caption that read:
