Kevin Pieterson is one of the greatest talents to have represented England. Not just this, he is also one of the greatest batsmen to have played the game. The handsome batsman from England has 8181 test runs against his name and 4440 ODI runs. Clearly, he is one of the most successful English batsmen.

Kevin Pieterson has picked his ODI XI and two Indians have found a spot in his playing XI. For some reasons, Virender Sehwag finds a place in his all-time ODI XI and Rohit Sharma does not.

Pieterson’s ODI XI is quite different from the one announced by ICC recently. Virat Kohli also finds a place in KP’s ODI XI whereas AB De Villiers, the destructive South African batsman does not find a place in KP’s XI.

Here is Kevin Pieterson’s ODI XI

Virender Sehwag, Chris Gayle, Ricky Ponting, Virat Kohli, Shaun Pollock, Daniel Vettori,  Shaun Pollock, Kumara Sangakkara (wk), Darren Gough, Glenn McGrath and Jacques Kallis.

It is strange that the likes of Rohit Sharma, AB De Villiers, and Babar Azam don’t find a place in his playing XI. To find Sachin Tendulkar missing from the list is an unpleasant surprise too.
