AB de Villiers is one of the most entertaining batsmen in the history of the game. He has a wide range of strokes that can destroy any bowling attack in the world. Since the arrival of T20 cricket, AB de Villiers has made many changes in his game and established himself as, arguably, the most destructive batsman.

Over the years, we have seen AB destroy bowling attacks around the world and make batting look very easy. The biggest reason behind De Villiers’ incredible six hitting skills is the way he keeps his head steady even while moving around the crease.

AB likes moving in and around the crease to disturb bowlers’ concentration and has the ability to hit the same ball in four different directions. And, this is why he is the most difficult batsman to bowl to in limited overs cricket.

In the ongoing season of The CSA T20 Challenge, AB de Villiers and his good old buddy Albie Morkel displayed a six-hitting masterclass. AB de Villiers smashed a destructive 19-ball fifty, while captain Albie Morkel hit 41 off 16 balls as Titans romped home to a comfortable win in a rain-affected game.

This was de Villiers’ 38th Twenty20 fifty and his exploits helped the Titans, the defending champions in the Ram Slam Twenty20 tournament, get five points. AB de Villiers, who hasn’t played much cricket in the last 12 months, looked in great touch as he middled everything right from the ball one.

Albie Morkel who now plays domestic T20 leagues around the world and only focuses on the shortest format of the game, also good in good touch and dispatched some powerful sixes to help his side.

Brief Scores: Lions 127/6 in 15 overs (Reeza Hendricks 67, Albie Morkel 3-12) lost to Titans 140/2 in 11.2 overs (AB de Villiers 50*, Albie Morkel 41*) by eight wickets via D/L method.
