A very funny dismissal happened in the Big Bash League when Melbourne Renegades’ swashbuckling all-rounder Dwayne Bravo got out in the most bizarre manner. Bravo, who is known for his big hitting and economical bowling in T20 cricket, couldn’t pick a slow delivery by Clint Mckay and swung his bat massively in the air.
Because of the lack of pace on McKay’s delivery, Bravo swung the bat too early and the ball crashed onto the stumps. The funny part of the dismissal was how Bravo’s bat went in the air while the ball went on to hit the stumps.
Bravo couldn’t do much as he walked back with a smile on his face. The smile just to hide the embarrassment of the dismissal, it seemed. Watch it here:
