We all love taking selfies. Forget about us, even Sachin Tendulkar takes two selfies every week. From Abu Dubai to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the great Sachin Tendulkar has taken selfies everywhere. India’s Test captain Virat Kohli is arguably the ‘Selfie King’ of Indian cricket. Just go to Kohli’s social media profile and you will find millions of selfies there.

But, the selfie in the above video, is in a different league altogether. This was shot during a live warm-up match between India and Afghanistan before the start of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. The boys in the video were enjoying the game from the stands when Ajinkya Rahane played a lofted shot that landed just in front of them. These guys ran around with ball and took a selfie before throwing it back to the field.

In nutshell, two boys who were watching a game of cricket live at the Adelaide Oval, took a selfie with the match ball when 11 fielders, two batsmen and two match officials were waiting for it to resume the play.

Suresh Raina, who was watching all this from the pavilion, was seen laughing at the boys when he saw it on the giant screen. Even Harsha Bhogle, who was on air, found it very amusing. He couldn’t stop laughing as he explained the incident to the viewers.

This selfie with the match-ball during a live match, has to be best selfie ever on a cricket field.
