T20 WORLD CUP 2022

All The Interesting Stats Of Team India In T20 World Cup History Feat. Rohit, Kohli, Dhoni

Team India will commence their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign on Sunday in a bumper clash against Pakistan. Rohit Sharma will be leading India for the first time in an ICC event.

And there’s already immense pressure on the new management of Rohit and head coach Rahul Dravid, after India’s group-stage exit from the T20 World Cup last year in the UAE and the failure to reach the final of the Asia Cup.

India has already been handed a double blow with the injuries to Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah, two key players and starters in the XI.

Nonetheless, today India has had success in the previous 7 editions of the T20 World Cup. India won the inaugural T20 World Cup back in 2007, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, defeating Pakistan in the final in Jo’burg.

Dhoni also led the side to the final of the 2014 T20 WC, where they lost to Sri Lanka, and to the semi-final in 2016 when the West Indies defeated India at the Wankhede.

In this article, we look at the interesting statistics of Indian players in the T20 World Cup:
