List Of Bowlers Who Have Taken 100 Test Wickets At A Single Ground: Recently England pacer Stuart Broad picked up his 100 Test wickets at the Lord’s, with the dismissal of South Arica’sKyle Verreynne last week. Broad, who is England’s second-highest Test wicket-taker, entered a rare list which only comprises three other bowlers to have taken 100 Test wickets at one particular venue.

One of these three even has this record at more than one venue! But you won’t be shocked to learn his name.

Here are the four bowlers who have taken 100 or more Test wickets at a single venue:

Muthiah Muralidaran – at Colombo, Kandy and Galle

It is none other than Sri Lankan legendary spinner Muthiah Muralidaran who has taken over 100 Test wickets at three different venues: the current world record of 166 wickets at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo; 117 at Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy; and 111 wickets at the Galle International Stadium.

Muralidaran has scripted some of the greatest individual bowling performances, and taken dozens of five-fors, at these venues. Muralidaran, who retired in 2010, is the leading wicket-taker in both Tests (800 wickets) and in ODIs (534).

James Anderson – at Lord’s

Veteran England seamer James Anderson is the leading Test wicket-taker among pacers with 658 scalps to his name. The 40-year-old from Lancashire has made a happy hunting ground at the Lord’s – with 117 wickets in the ‘Home of Cricket’ in 27 Tests.

Rangana Herath – at Galle

Left-arm spinner and former Sri Lankan skipper and Sri Lanka’s second-highest Test wicket-taker –  Rangana Herath – finished his storied career with a total of 433 Tests wickets; 102 of those alone came at the Galle International Stadium in 19 Tests he played there.
