Harsha Bhogle Took A Dig At ‘Captain’ Virat Kohli After Team India Was White-Washed By New Zealand In Test Series: The horror run of the Indian cricket team in New Zealand after team India suffered their first test series complete white-wash in eight years by the hands of New Zealanders in the just concluded two-match Test series in Christchurch. In the second match, Virat Kohli and co. fought back well, but the New Zealanders outperformed the Indian cricket team throughout the match.
Despite a great bowling effort from India’s ace bowler Jasprit Bumrah, the New Zealanders successfully chased down the given target of 132 runs quite easily with the help of the fifties from Tom Blundell and Tom Latham. Earlier, the Indian cricket team was all out for 124 in their second innings where Trent Boult emerged out as the top performer as he picked 4 wickets, while Tim Southee picked 3.
Just like every other Indian cricket fans, popular commentator and broadcaster, Harsha Bhogle was also very disappointed with the Indian cricket team getting white-washed by the New Zealanders. Harsha took to his Twitter and with a series of Tweets, he expressed his disappointment with the Indian cricket team losing the series to New Zealanders.
Expressing his disappointment, in his first Tweet Harsha wrote, how he thought New Zealand was marginally ahead of Team India. He wrote:
“Very disappointing. In the series preview on @cricbuzz, I thought NZ were marginally ahead but this was overwhelming. NZ remain an excellent team at home”

In another Tweet, he expressed how despite the brilliance of Jasprit Bumrah, New Zealanders outperformed India. He wrote:
“New Zealand outbowled India in spite of Bumrah’s fire in the 2nd test and Ishant in the 1st. But the decisive factor was the absence of opening partnerships that sets the scene for everyone else.”

However, in his last tweet, Harsha Bhogle took a sarcastic dig at Virat Kohli by writing how Virat Kohli didn’t take ‘losing the toss’ as a factor of losing the series. He wrote:
“It didn’t help that India lost two key tosses but good on Kohli to say that he won’t look at that as a factor”

Well, his dig has come in regard to Virat Kohli’s statement after losing the first test match by 10 wickets, where he said “toss turned out to very important factor” for them losing the match.
Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on Harsha Bhogle’s tweet:
But as per Kohli, Only T20I is relevant this year. Everything else is just afternoon bridge.

Shastri sees no reason to worry, as we may see a triple 100 by Kohli, & a 6 for by Bumrah, & it may happen anytime, so no reasons to worry.

Don’t think toss mattered in the second test. Ind batted decently in the first innings. But our second innings was beyond words!!
