India vs Australia 2017: Australian media calls Virat Kohli a “whingeing loser”

India vs Australia 2017: Virat Kohli’s chips are down and the Australian media isn’t letting this opportunity go. Kohli has always maintained a very aggressive stand against Australia. The last time India toured Australia, Virat Kohli said in a press conference that he doesn’t respect Australian cricketers because they don’t respect him. And this created a huge storm.

Even in the ongoing series, India’s captain hasn’t missed any opportunity to use the ‘sledge’ hammer and have a few conversations in the middle with Aussie cricketers. But, for a change, the Aussies haven’t replied back in the manner we expect them to.

However, their media is targeting Kohli and using very strong words to hit back at him. Here are some excerpts from Australia’s leading newspaper Sydney Herald:

“Virat Kohli is talking a bigger game than he is playing but the Indian captain is showing he can still inspire his team through words rather than action. His heckling of Smith was relentless. From the moment the Australian captain took guard, he was under siege. Not even the drinks break provided refuge for Smith,” Andrew Wu’s article in Sydney Herald said.
