Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram was heavily involved in the action when their opponents Mumbai Indians were batting. And not with the ball, but the SRH skipper made a big impact in the field taking the catches of the first three MI wickets to fall.
The third of those catches, that of batsman Suryakumar Yadav of the bowling of Marco Jansen, was simply sensational. It was gravity-defying as it let Aiden Markram almost horizontal for a moment. Mid-air.
Aiden Markram Took A Stunning Catch
From over the wicket angle, Marcon Jansen pitched on length to SKY, the ball moving away with the angle. SKY, having found his touch only in the last game, played it a handsomely on the up, toward left of mid-off, and didn’t bother keeping it on the ground.
Positioned at mid-off, Markran saw the ball flying and barely took a step before leaping onto the blazing ball. He went with both his hands, caught the ball with his left and covered it with his right. Even as he went down thudding on the ground, Markram didn’t let the ball go away from his hands and completed a spectacular catch.
