Sachin’s Reply to SRK’s Tweet For Son Arjun Tendulkar Is Pure Gold

Sachin Tendulkar‘s son, Arjun Tendulkar, made his much-awaited IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians a couple of days ago, against the Kolkata Knight Riders, at the Wankhede stadium.

Arjun took the new ball and bowled the first and the third over of KKR’s innings.

The left-arm pacer started well by swinging the ball a little both ways and getting seam movement off the pitch, and getting to move it into the right-handed KKR openers. He even created a couple of close chances, but that maiden IPL wicket eluded him. Arjun bowled only 2 overs on his debut, returning with figures of 0/17.

Among the many congratulatory messages, Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood mega-star, KKR owner, and a good friend of Sachin Tendulkar, wrote a heartfelt tweet for Sachin and Arjun on the latter’s IPL debut. SRK stated that he was very happy to see the son of his friend make IPL debut.

Sachin Tendulkar, a friend of SRK’s, replied with sincere, wholehearted words for SRK.

“There are gold threads in both, MI & KKR jerseys but your heart is 100% gold, Shah Rukh! Thank you so much for your warm wishes,” Sachin Tendulkar replied to SRK.

Sachin Tendulkar himself also had taken to Twitter to express his feelings and emotions as Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut.

“Arjun, today you have taken another important step in your journey as a cricketer. As your father, someone who loves you and is passionate about the game, I know you will continue to give the game the respect it deserves and the game will love you back,” Tendulkar tweeted.

“You have worked very hard to reach here, and I am sure you will continue to do so. This is the start of a beautiful journey. All the best!”

Mumbai Indians defeated KKR by 5 wickets as Venkatesh Iyer’s century went in vain. They have now registered two consecutive wins.
