Arjun Tendulkar plays for Goa in domestic cricket, and he made his first-class debut for Goa in 2022 Ranji Trophy.

Arjun had made his domestic debut for Mumbai in 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. However, he didn’t get the opportunities regularly, and failed to break into a strong team of Mumbai in List-A and first-class cricket.

After being benched for most of his time with the Mumbai team, Arjun, with the advice of his father Sachin Tendulkar, shifted to play for Goa in domestic cricket, and featured in all three formats for Goa.

In 7 first-class matches in 2022/23 domestic season, he picked up 12 wickets and with the bat, scored 223 runs, including a century – a score of 120 against Rajasthan – on debut, like his father Sachin did on his Ranji debut.

He also has snapped up 8 wickets in 7 List-A matches, and 12 wickets in 9 T20 matches.

Arjun and his coaches are working to up his speed, but also are cautious of not losing his swing and control of lines and lengths.

In the past few months, he has been working extensively with Yograj Singh, former India cricketer and father of Yuvraj Singh, on his fitness and cricketing aspects. The improved results where shown in the domestic season.
