Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul played a crucial knock with the bat against Rajasthan Royals, on Wednesday (April 19). KL Rahul alongwith Kyle Mayers gave Lucknow Super Giants a solid start with the bat. The duo added 82 runs for the first wicket before Jason Holder broke their partnership in the 11th over by dismissing Rahul.
The Windies captain dismissed Rahul to give a much-needed breakthrough with the ball. During his knock of 39 runs off 32 balls, KL Rahul smashed a couple of stunning shots including a 103m six. The six was so good that the fans would remember it for a long time. It was a massive six from the right-handed opener that made everyone’s jaw drop.

The stunning six took place in the 5th delivery of the 9th over in the LSG’s batting innings when Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a flighted leg-spinning delivery to KL. The ball was overpitched but the LSG captain smashed it high in the air over the deep mid-wicket boundary for a huge six.
The ball traveled for 103 meters over mid-wicket. Rahul’s wife Athiya Shetty, who was in the stands, was overjoyed to see the brilliant shot and she gave a priceless reaction to the six.

Talking about the game, LSG managed to defeat the table-toppers by 10 runs. It was for the first time in four years that an IPL match was being played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
After putting up a total of 154 runs on the scoreboard, the LSG bowlers made sure to keep things tight with the ball, especially in the death overs. No one other than the RR opening duo of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler could get going in the game and as a result RR failed to chase the target.
