Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar, has become one of the most talked about players in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. The 21-year-old has impressed one and all with his movement of the ball and his raw pace.
Tilak Varma Called Arjun Tendulkar Yorker King
Recently, MI players Tilak Varma and Arjun Tendulkar were seen indulging in an interesting conversation during their travel time. The Mumbai franchise via its official social media handle shared a glimpse of the conversation between Tilak and Arjun.
In the video, Tilak hailed Arjun as the ‘Yorker King’ of Mumbai Indians and went on to ask him about his experience of handling the pressure of bowling the final over against SunRisers Hyderabad.
“You’re the yorker king in our team, so how was the pressure in the last over while they were chasing 20 runs,” asked Tilak.
Responding to his query, Arjun replied by stating that he practiced well and gained confidence from it. The short conversation between them has won the internet. The video and the screenshots of their conversation have been making rounds on the internet. He asked:
“Not much pressure because obviously 20 runs we should defend. I had practised so much and I was confident.”

Talking about Mumbai Indians, the five-times IPL champs kicked off their campaign in IPL 2023 on the worst possible note with two back-to-back defeats against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, they have managed to roar back in style by winning their next three games comfortably.
MI is currently sitting in the sixth position in the points table, with six points off the 5 games they have played so far.
Mumbai Indians will now lock horns with Punjab Kings tomorrow (April 22nd at 7:30 pm) at the Wankhede Stadium.
