After a two-month breakthrough yet grueling IPL 2023 season, KKR batsman Rinku Singh is having his cool-down time in the Maldives.
Rinku was the leading run-scorer for KKR this season as the left-hander rose in prominence this year with his belligerent hitting abilities. Now, the southpaw is chilling and having a brief vacation in Maldives.
The 25-year-old flexed his terrific physique and abs and tatoos on social media with pictures from his trip to Maldives.
Rinku took to Instagram to share pictures from his vacation with his fans.
“Caution: Addictive content ahead,” Rinku Singh wrote a cheesy caption.
Interestingly, what caught the fans by surprise was a comment made by Shahneel, the sister of Shubman Gill. Fans wondered whether Shahneel and Rinku got to know each other and became friends when Shubman Gill was part of KKR from 2018 to 2022.
“Oo heroo,” Shahneel Gill commented under Rinku Singh’s post.

He smashed 474 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 149, including four half-centuries. His most memorable knock – hailed as one IPL all-time greatest moments – came against GT’s Yash Dayal when the left-hander whacked the seamer for 5 sixes in 5 balls when KKR needed 28 runs in 5 balls.
Singh’s rise this season was heartening to see and the southpaw is likely to get an India call-up for the West Indies series in July.
Meanwhile, talking about Shubman, the 23-year-old India opener is in London for the WTC Final against Australia. Gill himself had a sensational IPL season which saw him finish with the Orange Cap for his 890 runs in the season.
After the WTC Final, Gill’s next challengers will be the Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup 2023 at home. The upcoming months are filled with opportunities for the youngster to cement his name in the annals of Indian cricket.
