Yashasvi Jaiswal Revealed How Rajasthan Royals Helped Him With His Finances

Young and talented batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has expressed his gratitude towards his franchise Rajasthan Royals, claiming that the franchise has helped him manage his finances so that he could focus on his game.

Jaiswal impressed one and all with his sensational performances with Rajasthan Royals during the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. Jaiswal was Rajasthan’s best batter during the campaign. The left-handed opener amassed 625 runs during IPL 2023 at an average of 48.08 and also scored the fastest fifty in the history of the tournament.

All thanks his brilliant performances in the IPL 2023 and domestic tournament helped him earn a maiden call-up in the Test team for the upcoming West Indies tour.

Jaiswal Revealed Rajasthan Royals Helped Him

Meanwhile, in an interview, Jaiswal revealed how RR has helped him outside the pitch by helping him with his finances. Speaking at the Idea Exchange, as quoted by Indian Express, Jaiswal said that he has managed himself well in his life in terms of finances. He said:

“To date, I have managed myself really well. First, I trust my decisions. Secondly, I try and spend on things necessary for me.”

“For example, I need a good diet, a good home for the family. I won’t say that I don’t spend much, I do, but not on anything unnecessary,”

Further, Jaiswal revealed how Rajasthan Royals has helped him manage his finances because of which he has been able to focus on his game.

The 21-year-old said that the franchise guides him when it comes to investments. Jaiswal also said that he has respect for other franchises who are doing similar things for other players. He said:

The primary thing for me is cricket; that’s my focus. I think in this matter, I have received a lot support from Rajasthan Royals. They manage me financially, the franchise guides me on how I should invest my money,” he said.

They take care of my finances so that I can focus on my cricket. I am really grateful and have immense respect for all the franchises which are doing this for their players,”
