Rishabh Pant Gave A Big Update About His Health

India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant gave a big update on his recovery after getting involved in a tragic car accident last month. Rishabh is currently on road to recovery after suffering injuries in a gruesome car accident last month. The star keeper-batter was traveling to Roorkee when his luxury car hit a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on the morning of January 30 and burst into flames. He was on his way to his hometown to surprise his mother. He had a miraculous escape but suffered multiple injuries and was immediately taken to hospital.

For the first time since he suffered injuries in the car accident, Pant took to his social media and shared an update about his health. On Monday, Pant took to his social media and confirmed that the surgery he underwent was successful and getting better every day. The 25-year-old also thanked the BCCI, his fans and all other people for supporting him and wishing him a speedy recovery. He wrote:

I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes. I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the @BCCI, @JayShah & government authorities for their incredible support. From the bottom of my heart, I also would like to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors and the physios for your kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to see you all on the field.  #grateful #blessed”

Rishabh Pant was driving from Delhi to his home in Roorkee to spend the new year with his family when the accident happened. He was rescued by a Haryana Roadways driver, who rushed to the spot and pulled the cricketer out from the vehicle before it caught fire. He was rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to Max Hospital Dehradun.

On January 4, Pant was airlifted to Mumbai for further treatment, where he is getting treated at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute. He has been under the direct supervision of Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala.
