BCCI Announces BookMyShow As Ticket Partner: Know When You Can Book World Cup 2023 Tickets

On Wednesday, August 23, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced BookMyShow as the ticketing platform for the upcoming World Cup 2023 matches that will be hosted by India.

While the main tournament will kick-start on October 5th, the warm-up matches will be played from September 29 from October 3rd. The final for World Cup 2023 is slated for November 19 in Ahmedabad.

India are hosting the ODI World Cup alone for the first time – India hosted three previous ODI World Cups in 1987, 1996, and 2011, but at those times, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh were co-hosts at various editions. This time, the competition will be solely held in India.

The World Cup 2023 will be played across 10 different venues: Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will be hosting the warm-up matches ahead of the main tournament.
