Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli is currently enjoying his time away from the game. He is on a break ever since the conclusion of the Bangladesh series. Having given the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka a miss, the batting superstar is all set to return to the Indian set-up for the ODI series against the islanders. However, ahead of the start of the 3-match ODI series, the right-handed batter shared a couple of cryptic posts via his official Instagram account and left his fans bewildered.
Yes, on Sunday, Kohli left everyone confused after he shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story. Virat took to his social media and shared a quote from late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan on the downsides of having fame. The quote read:
“Wanting fame is a disease and one day I will want to be free from this disease, from this desire. Where fame doesn’t matter. Where just experiencing life and being okay is enough,”
In another post, he shared a video featuring Hollywood actor Tom Hanks in a couple of stories. “I wish I had known ‘this too shal pass’. You feel bad right now? You feel pissed off? You feel angry? This too shall pass. You feel great. You feel like, you know all the answers. You feel like everybody finally gets you,” Tom Hanks could be heard saying in the video shared by Kohli.

Well, the Indian movie industry marked Irrfan’s birth anniversary on Saturday (January 7). Irrfan Khan, who is hailed as one of India’s most accomplished film stars, passed away in April 2020 after a long battle with illness. However, Virat Kohli has been sharing plenty of such posts on social media over the last few days. While the reason behind his Insta stories isn’t known but his choice of posts and quotes on the social media platform has definitely left everyone confused.
On the cricketing front, Kohli is expected to join the team soon as the preparations for the ODI series against Sri Lanka are all set to kickstart. The ODI series will kickstart on January 10 in Guwahati, and the next two matches will then take place in Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram on January 12 and 15.
