In a piece of news that nobody ever saw coming, cricket fans have found a hilarious resemblance between India wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav and world-renowned singer Taylor Swift.
A picture of Taylor Swift from one of her recent concerts, taken by AP Photo/Natacha Pisarenko, has gone viral in which she could be seen perhaps showing off her left-hand muscles while holding the mike with her right hand. In an incredibly uncanny resemblance it made with generally how leg-spinners bowl, a fan’s opinion went viral.
The picture appeared as the header image of an article in the telegraph.co.uk website. A Twitter user, Simon Briggs, posted this article with its header image quite visible and pointed out to the cricket fans that Taylor Swift’s image looks exactly like how a leg-spinner would look while in the motion of his run up to deliver the ball.
Simon Briggs tweeted: “Does this picture make it look as if Taylor Swift is about to unleash a lethal left-arm wrist-spinner? Or do I just have a one-track mind?”

Fans quickly pulled out an image of Kuldeep Yadav, a left-arm wrist-spinner also called chinaman category, and showed that both Taylor and Kuldeep Yadav has a similar action in the two images.
This tweet from the fan went viral and it has already received over 10,000 likes on Twitter and would soon start to appear on Instagram timelines.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has expectedly been retained by the Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2024 auction.
