A Silly Pakistani TV Host Claims Afghanistan Fixed The Match

The Indian cricket team finally roared back into the form as they registered their first win of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 after defeating Afghanistan with a huge margin of 66 runs to break their series of defeats. With the back-to-back defeats by Pakistan and New Zealand, team India’s chances of making it to the semi-finals were almost ruled out.

Team India gave a complete team performance to register their first win. After being asked to bat first, the Indian batters put up a stellar show with the bat and registered a target of 210 runs. Later, the Indian bowlers restricted the Afghans from chasing the target with ease. Mohammed Shami and Ravi Ashwin gave a tough time to the Afghan batters as they picked 3 and 2 wickets each respectively.

Meanwhile, a tweet has been making rounds on the micro-blogging site, where a Pakistani TV host has claimed that the Afghanistan cricket team had fixed the match.

The Tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from the Indian fans to it. Unsurprisingly, the fans were angry after reading a tweet like this and started trolling the Pakistani host left, right, and center. There were many who highlighted the fact that Pakistanis are now jealous and can’t bear the sight of the Indian cricket team getting back on track.

On the other hand, several users came up with tweets highlighting ‘match-fixing’ controversies involving the Pakistani cricketers.
