IPL 2020: Aakash Chopra is undoubtedly one of the most popular names when it comes to the world of Hindi commentators. Chopra could not achieve much success as a player in the international arena however, he has made a big name for himself by taking up commentary after retirement, especially in the Hindi language. His unique way of calling the matches in Hindi has earned him millions of fans and now, Aakash Chopra, as a cricket expert, has a massive fan following.

Talking about the IPL, as Star Sports has acquired the TV rights for the world’s biggest T20 league, Aakash Chopra regularly tries to promote the tournament with tweets related to it. There are still some weeks left for the 2020 edition of the VIVO IPL but the auction for the same had taken place in December 2019.

The fans always have their eyes on three teams – Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The reason why fans follow MI and CSK is that they are two of the most successful teams of the tournament with 7 titles between them. On the other hand, RCB always fields a strong squad just to choke at the last moment. They have played 3 IPL finals but have won none.

Every year after the auction, RCB start as the favorites to win and this year is no different. The fans and critics have backed RCB to do well in IPL 2020 and now, Aakash Chopra has joined that list. In his recent tweet, Chopra mentioned that RCB have five current Indian players – Virat Kohli, Navdeep Saini, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Washington Sundar. Besides, the team has overseas stars like Aaron Finch, Dale Steyn, AB de Villiers, and Moeen Ali. Adding Devdutt Padikkal to the mix makes it the perfect XI. Hence, Chopra expects RCB to defy the odds and win IPL 2020.

Kohli, Chahal, Dube, Sundar, Saini….five current Indian T20i players. All of them were in the playing XI today. Add Finch, ABDV, Mooen and Steyn/Morris/Kane Richardson to it. Plus Devdutt Pallikal. Gimme a reason why #RCB shouldn’t do well in #IPL2020
