Aakash Chopra wrote a special tweet for SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad made Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) wait for their maiden IPL trophy much longer as they defeated them in the eliminator by 6 wickets at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

It was a do-or-die match for both the team and Sunrisers Hyderabad won the game and will now  lock horns with Delhi Capitals n the 2nd Qualifiers on November 8 to fight for a place in the Finale match against 4 times winner Mumbai Indians.

After coming out to bat first, RCB’s batting line-up collapsed once again. And not so surprisingly, once again AB de Villiers turned out to be the lone warrior in the RCB’s batting line-up as he tried his best to smash as much as he can. However, he lost his wicket in the 18th over after scoring 56 runs off 43 deliveries. Following his dismissal, RCB had to settle with a below-par total of 131 runs for 7 wickets in their 20 overs.

Legend has it that every time we post, a wicket falls…. hope this works in our favour. #PlayBold #IPL2020 #WeAreChallengers #Dream11IPL #SRHvRCB pic.twitter.com/TXFoDtBZFL

Later, while chasing the target runs, tried to make a comeback with the ball. Mohammad Sirag was once again brilliant with the ball and was responsible for taking two major wickets of Shreevats Goswami and David Warner. Later, the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Adam Zampa also tried to stop the run-flow and took one wicket each.

However, SRH’s star player Kane Williamson kept his calm and soaked all the pressure as he remained unbeaten till the last ball. Kane along with Holder took the team to the winning side and a step closer to the IPL trophy.

Meanwhile, social media was flooded with reactions from Twitterati on this. While the Virat Kohli led side is getting brutally trolled on social media, on the other hand, fans are praising Sunrisers Hyderabad for their brilliant comeback in the league and for finally making it to the playoffs.

Among many, former Indian cricketer and popular commentator Aakash Chopra also took to his twitter and joined the bandwagon. Aakash was all praises for Sunrisers Hyderabad for making it to the playoffs. He posted a hilarious yet special post applauding the performance of David Warner, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, and Jason Holder.

Calling all these players as the four pillars of the famous Charminar, Aakash Chopra wrote:

“Warner…Williamson…Rashid….Holder. Chaar Minaar of the team from the land of Charminar. Man bowing deeply #IPL2020 #SRH”
