Aakash Chopra Had Predicted ‘MI vs DC’ Final On 16th October: Delhi Capitals made history after they qualified for the Final of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League after they defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 2 by 17 runs on Sunday, in Abu Dhabi. This is the first time in the history of the Indian Premier League that Delhi Capitals.

Coming out to bat first, Delhi Capitals scored 189 runs owing to the opening partnership of Marcus Stoinis and Shikhar Dhawan and a fantastic cameo by Shimron Hetymer.

In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad started their innings on the worst possible note as they lost their three wickets in the playoffs only. SRH finished their innings on 172 for 8. Kane Williamson played another brilliant knock. Williamson’s 67 (45) and Abdul Samad’s 33 (16) staged a fightback from SRH and saved the match from turning it into a one-sided one.

However, Marcus Stoinis’ wickets and Rabada’s closing spell made sure that Delhi wins the game.

As soon as DC defeated SRH to qualify for the final, netizens flooded the internet with their amazing reactions to the win. Among many, the popular commentator and former Indian cricketer, Aakash Chopra took to his Twitter and shared one of his old Tweets, which he posted on October 16. In his old Tweet, Aakash Chopra had asked for a final clash between Mumbai and Delhi, writing: “Can we have #MI vs #DelhiCapitals finals already?”

Aakash had posted this tweet after both the teams had won 6 of their eight games and were giving tough competition to all the other teams.

Sharing the old tweet, Aakash Chopra wrote: “And here we are”
