Royal Challengers Bangalore is taking on Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing blockbuster contest at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Former Proteas player AB de Villiers was one of the star performers for RCB during his time at the marquee league.
As a mark of respect towards the legendary player and his contribution towards RCB over the years, his name was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame.
AB de Villiers’ Wife Doesn’t Support RCB

Meanwhile, ahead of the KKR vs RCB game, Ab de Villiers and his wife Danielle de Villiers took part in a fun quick-fire round for the IPL’s official digital broadcasters of the Jio Cinema. During the fun interview, they were asked several interesting questions.
When they were asked about their favorite artist, they replied in unison, “Coldplay.” When asked about their favorite cuisine? They replied, “Sushi”.
However, when the power couple was asked about which team they were supporting in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League, while de Villiers replied: “RCB”, Danielle extended her support to Kolkata Knight Riders. She said: “KKR. What? It’s Shah Rukh Khan‘s team. He is like pure love.”
ABD looked stunned, and he replied: “Are you kidding?”
The video of the same has been going around on the internet. Watch the video:
