Abhinav Mukund Tweeted Why KL Rahul Is A Special Player

Indian opener KL Rahul showed immaculate control and sheer determination as he played a stunning knock and helped the Indian side to take the driver’s seat in the ongoing 2nd Test match at the iconic Lord’s Stadium.

Both the openers — Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were seen in an outstanding form as they together put on a stellar show as they gave a much-needed headstart to the Indian cricket team.




Rohit started by defending but later he took the game by storm as he smashed a flurry of boundaries. He gave a stunning performance but he missed out on a well-deserved century as he was sent back to the pavilion dismissed after scoring 85 runs off 115 balls, smashing 11 fours and a six.

Talking about KL Rahul, the cricketer took his time to get comfortable on the field. He was batting on 33 (118) when Rohit was dismissed but after his wicket, Rahul turned his knock into a stunning century. became the third Indian opener in the history of the longest format of the game to score a century at Lord’s. He reached the triple-figure in 212 balls and has hit 11 fours and six, so far in his innings.




KL has impressed one and all with his stunning comeback. From cricketers, celebrities to fans, everyone is showering praises for the blockbuster performance by KL.

Among many, Indian cricketer Abhinav Mukund, who opens for Tamil Nadu, also took to his Twitter and hailed KL Rahul with an amazing tweet. In his tweet, Abhinav shared that KL Rahul is a special player by explaining how he was batting on second fiddle and wasn’t getting tempted but after Rohit’s dismissal, KL constructed his innings and converted into a stunning century. He wrote:

“When Rohit Sharma got out on 83, Kl Rahul was batting on 33(118). It takes great skill to bat second fiddle,not get tempted and then turn it on to get a hundred. Fine innings,well deserved of the honours board! #INDvENG #KLRahul”
