After Sarfaraz, MP’s Yash Dubey Gave A Tribute To Sidhu Moose Wala After Stunning Century: Mumbai’s Sarfaraz Khan smashed a stunning century in the Ranji Trophy final against Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday. After completing his century, an emotional Sarfaraz Khan gave a heartfelt tribute to the late singer Sidhu Moose Wala by imitating his signature ‘thigh-slap’ or ‘thappi’. Later on, he also confirmed that it was his tribute to the Punjabi singer.

This was for Sidhu – Sarfaraz Khan

Following his stunning century on Day 2, Sarfaraz Khan revealed that the signature step was his tribute to the late singer. He also revealed that he “loves his songs.” He had said:

“This was for Sidhu Moosewala. I love his songs and mostly me and Hardik Tamore (keeper) listen to his songs. I did a similar kind of celebration during an earlier match also (in his memory), but then, Hotstar didn’t show it. I had decided once I score another hundred, I would repeat the celebration,”

The celebration from Sarfaraz Khan is an absolute pleasure to watch. pic.twitter.com/QamNJ5Ua7g

Yash Dubey Also Paid A Heartfelt Tribute To Sidhu

On Day 3 of the ongoing match, now Madhya Pradesh’s Yash Dubey has done the same after he reached the three-figure mark in the game. He also gave an emotional tribute to the Punjabi singer.

During the game, MP made a strong start to Day 3 and didn’t lose a wicket in the entire first session. Yash Dubey and Shubham Sharma formed a brilliant partnership and added 105 runs to the overnight total of 123/1.

Dubey reached the three figure-mark with a four towards the leg-side in the second-last over before Lunch. And as he completed his century, he burst into celebration. First, he imitated KL Rahul’s ‘shut-out-the-noise’ celebration, which was followed up with the ‘thigh-slap’ step giving a tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala, drawing a huge roar from the crowd.

The video of the same was shared by the official Twitter handle of the BCCI and has been going viral on social media.
