Ajinkya Rahane Helps India In Fight Against COVID-19 By Contributing 30 Oxygen Concentrators: The nation is currently witnessing an unprecedented surge in deadly COVID-19 infections. The healthcare system is crumbling due to the COVID crisis with hospitals struggling with ventilators, beds, oxygen, medications, and other essential equipment. India recorded a single-day rise of 3,79,257 new cases on Wednesday and is witnessing mass destruction of human lives.
At a time like this, several cricketers and celebrities from the world are coming forward to help India in the fight against COVID-19. The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Jaydev Unadkat, Sachin Tendulkar, Pat Cummins, and others have contributed to India’s fight against this deadly disease.
The latest one to extend his support to the ongoing battle against the Coronavirus pandemic is India’s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane. The official handle of MCCIA revealed that Rahane has made a contribution of 30 oxygen concentrators to support Mission Vayu.
In their tweet, the MCCIA also revealed that these concentrators will be sent to the most affected districts of Maharashtra. MCCIA wrote:
“Thank you so much Ajinkya Rahane for your additional contribution of 30 Oxygen Concentrators to Mission Vayu. We will send these to the most affected districts of Maharashtra,”

Talking about his professional front, Ajinkya Rahane has not managed to find a permanent spot in the playing XI of the Delhi Capitals’ side. So far, he has only played in two games for his side off the 7 games. He got to bat only once against Rajasthan Royals, where he scored a run-a-ball 8. Following this, Rahane has been overlooked in the ongoing tournament.
