Australian cricketer Alyssa Healy is currently riding high after anchoring Australia’s record fifth ICC T20 World Cup win. She is currently having the time of her life and the same was visible via her latest tweet to a journalist where she took a subtle dig at the men’s cricket after the first ODI match between Australia and New Zealand was played in an empty stadium.
The first of three ODI match series took place at the Sydney Cricket Ground behind the doors. The match had zero spectators and wasn’t open to any form of the crowd.
Meanwhile, a popular journalist took to his Twitter and shared how the number of spectators has declined to zero, whereas it was 86,714 on Sunday during the final match of women’s T20, World Cup. The journalist wrote:
“In hindsight, the fact they got 86,714 to the G on Sunday night was miraculous timing. One week later and it would have been 0.”

“It’s been a week of us feeling what it’s like in the men’s shoes and them in ours!! Haha,”

It was an unusual sight to watch when the Australian cricket team walked out to bat and got the 1st ODI match going without a single spectator and fan at the stands. And this was happened just days after the blockbuster win of the Australian women cricketers at the World Cup final.
Alyssa Healy gave a match-winning performance in the finale and took her side to the victory after scoring 75 runs off just 39 deliveries, which included seven boundaries and five sixes. She was awarded with the player of the match for her amazing performance.
