Virat Kohli and his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl on Monday. Announcing the great news, Kohli wrote:

“We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes,” Kohli informed on Monday through a statement on his social media handles.

“Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time,”

Keeping up with his wits on social media, Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media and shared a viral post on Twitter. The post features a long list of Indian cricketers who have daughters.

The post includes the names of Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami, R Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Puara, Wriddhiman Saha, Harbhajan Singh, T Natarajan, Umesh Yadav, and the new father Virat Kohli.

Hinting at the ‘future women’s cricket team’ in the making, Amitabh Bachchan added that MS Dhoni also has a daughter and wondered if she will be the captain of this team. Big B wrote:
