Angry Fans Are Slamming Mumbai Indians For Ignoring Ishan Kishan For Jimmy Neesham: Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians is currently locking its horns against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the much-awaited clash at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. Ahead of the game, Mumbai Indians announced a few changes in their playing XI.
While James Neesham is finally making his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, Ishan Kishan will continue to warm the bench. The New Zealand’s star all-rounder has replaced Aussie quick Nathan Coulter-Nile and will be keen to leave a mark with his performance for Mumbai Indians. Another change for MI was the addition of an extra pacer – Dhawan Kulkarni in place of off-spinner Jayant Yadav.
Talking about Ishan Kishan, he has failed to fire up in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, scoring only 73 runs in the 5 games he has played so far. Ishan was the highest run-scorer for MI last season, with a whopping 516 runs under his name. Therefore, his poor form has came as a surprise to many.
Meanwhile, as soon as the changes were announced, social media was flooded with reactions from the fans on it. From fans to cricket experts, everyone took to their social media to express their thoughts on the same. Everyone had mixed reactions to James Neesham’s inclusion in the playing XI. Delighted to see Jimmy Neesham get his cap for Mumbai Indians. Present lot of Kiwis, across teams, is very talented. CSK need a good start fron du Plessis and Gaikwad to pile up a big score against the strong MI attack
