England cricket team dominated the game from start to the end and gave a brilliant performance in all the departments of the game. England was able to chase down the target of 125 runs in the 16th over itself.

With only 124 runs to defend, team India needed early wickets to make a comeback into the game, however, Jason Roy and Jos Buttler joined hands to shatter the chances. The duo gave a stunning performance and shared 72-runs for the first wicket to all but seal the game for the tourists. While the Indian skipper was dismissed on zero, the openers – Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul couldn’t even touch the double-digit mark as team India found themselves 3 down for just 20 in 5 overs. Following Virat’s dismissal, the Indian batting line-up collapsed badly. Though Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer tried to bring back the momentum but both of them failed to rescue team India.
