Angry Yuvraj Singh Wrote A Special Tweet For The Controversial Run-Out In the 2nd ODI: The Indian cricket team was thrashed by the England cricket team by six wickets in the 2nd ODI match at Maharashtra Cricket Association on Friday. England batsmen dominated over the Indian bowlers from the word go and smashed them all around the ground.
In the second ODI, Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow smashed the Indian bowlers all around the ground as they scored 99 and 124 runs respectively to help their team level the ongoing series by 1-1. However, their amazing partnership would have come to an end if when England were cruising on 170/1, if Stokes hadn’t survived due to the benefit of the doubt given to the batsman, by the third umpire.
Though in the 26th over of England’s innings, Kuldeep hit the stumps directly from the mid-wicket boundary and the ball directly smashed the stumps. However, when the on-field umpires referred to the third umpire, they decided to go against India.
Though the throw by Kuldeep was really good however after many replays, the third umpire Anil Chaudhary decided that the batsman was not out. But the replays were not really clear and perhaps it just came down to benefit of the doubt.
Meanwhile, cricketers and fans on social media went berserk after the incident and took to their social media to react in the same. Among many, former Indian cricketer and world cup hero Yuvraj Singh also took to his Twitter and shared his opinion on the matter. In his tweet, he claimed that the batsman was out and also stated that as per him no part of the bat was touching the line. He wrote:
“That was out !!! No part of bat was touching over the line . It was just showing that it was over ! Just my opinion !! #IndiavsEngland”
